I can't believe it is Nov 28th already. So the show on Nov 12 went super well. The crowd was just hungry on everything related to the elections and everyone killed it. I wrote 15 minutes of jokes in the last 2 days and I was actually happy with them. To be honest, I always felt like my topical jokes were just skimming the surface and never really made any observations about the larger social aspects of being Malaysian and this time, I feel like I was able to do that a little bit. So, I feel like the comedy leveled up a bit. I took a video and made some clips for socmed and they were well-received and now I have 100 new Tik Tok followers who think I talk politics all the time, which of course, I don't. This is my set for the show tonight: First of all, I just want to tell you guys I am voting for BN! (BOO: I like that. Just testing only. Want to see if you guys are awake. LAUGH: Okay, that was my first joke. I love how you guys reacted. I think that tells you all you need to know about Malaysian politics. Nobody in this room voting BN ah? NO REACTION: Really ah? It’s very interesting these past few elections, if you ask people who they are voting for, even if they don’t answer, you can tell who they are voting for by how loud they are speaking. If it’s a BN voter, they’ll be like “Undi itu rahsia.” If they are a PH voter, they will be like, “INI KALILAH!” So if you lose your eardrums, that’s a PH supporter. They are LOUD, boy!

Stuff I need to do: 1. Write a new 15 minute set for a show on Saturday. It's a pre-election show, so Keren invited me to join in as I used to do a lot of political jokes. Only 2 days left to write. Actually, I basically only have a couple hours tomorrow and Saturday to write and no time to try out my jokes. I have zero words and zero ideas so far and the worst thing is I have no idea how to do political comedy right now. 2. Tonight, all the comics are meeting to record videos calling for young people to vote. I feel like going because I haven't seen my comedy buddies in awhile but I also feel like not going because I have no video ideas. Unless I write the script in the next hour or so, I won't be participating. 3. The podcast is basically on hold until I clear all the standup stuff off my plate. I suck at juggling. I need to either get that back on track or give up on it again. I feel like I'm doing with podcasts what I did with blogs last time - I just start and aban
